Prajakta Enterprises’ Salman Society (Marathi; UA) revolves around the lives of three children living with their families, and the challenges they face. How the three children overcome the odds forms the crux of the story.
Kailash Kashinath Pawar has written a story and screenplay, which don’t offer novelty. Even many of the incidents are oft-repeated ones. Emotions don’t touch the heart at all, which is another minus point of the drama. Pawar’s dialogues are average.
Vinayak Potdar does a fine job job as Salman. Pushkar Lonarkar is quite impressive. Shubham More is adequate. Upendra Limaye shines. Gaurav More acts well. Devaki Bhondave is good. Namrata Sambherao provides fantastic support. Vanita Kharat is okay. Others lend the required support.
Kailash Kashinath Pawar’s direction is average. Shreyash Raj Angane’s music and lyrics are functional. Amit Baing’s choreography is routine. Maxwell Fernandes’ background music could’ve been better. Farooque Khan’s camerawork is okay. Action and stunt scenes are quite alright. Kailash Kashinath Pawar’s editing leaves something to be desired.
On the whole, Salman Society is a dull fare.
