The social service branch of Bombay city’s crime branch on April 21 arrested Bhojpuri film actress Suman Kumari Tetu alias Topi for acting as a pimp and pushing girls into the prostitution racket. The 24-year-old actress was caught red-handed in a raid in a hotel, and was held under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA). Three girls were rescued.
Suman Kumari Tetu (earlier known as Suman Yadav) has worked in several Bhojpuri films including Laila Majnu and Baap Numbari Beta 10 Numbari.
