Bombay mayor Kishori Pednekar hit out at Union minister Narayan Rane over his allegations that Sushant Singh Rajput and his temporary talent manager, Disha Salian, had been murdered by the same set of people, and the two incidents were linked. Pednekar asked the women’s commission to take cognisance of Rane’s statements and take suitable action in this regard.
Disha Salian had jumped to her death in 2020. Her post mortem report had been endorsed by her father. However, Rane’s comments amounted to the minister falsifying the same. This was nothing short of character violation, according to Pednekar.
