The police filed an FIR against two persons for threatening Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, of rape and murder if she did not commit suicide like her boyfriend. Rhea filed a police complaint on 18th July against the two Instagram accounts for sending her the threats on social media. The Santacruz (Bombay) police registered a case under the IPC and IT Acts. One of the accounts was deactivated. The police will seek help from the cyber crime police to get more information about the two Instagram account holders. They will also write to Instagram for details about the two accounts.
Sushant Singh Rajput had committed suicide on 14th June.
