The ashes of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar were immersed in the Ramkund on the banks of the Godavari river in Nasik on 10th February. The final rites were performed by her nephew, Adinath Mangeshkar, and sister, Usha Mangeshkar. Other family members were also present.
The flight with the Mangeshkars landed at Nasik airport from where they went to Ramkund by road. There was tight police bandobast to ensure a hassle-free ceremony.
