PVR Cinemas, in partnership with French company CGR Cinemas, today (16th December) launched the first Ice Theaters auditorium in two properties in Delhi NCR — at PVR Icon Promenade Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, and at PVR Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. These are the first two cinemas with the Ice Theaters format in India and the Asia Pacific region. Kartik Aaryan did the honours.
The Ice Immersive technology, successfully introduced in Europe, North America and the Middle East, is a sensorial experience, which features LED panels on each side of the auditorium in order to fill the moviegoer’s peripheral vision with supplementary ambient colours and shapes. These colours and shapes complement the action on the main screen.
