‘RATNAKAR’ SHINES IN ASSAM | 13 October, 2019

After Kanchanjangha, Assamese film Ratnakar is doing wonders at the Assam box-office. The film, which opened on 11th October, netted Rs. 41 lakh on the first day. Collections increased to Rs. 49 lakh on the second day. The first day’s collection of Kanchanjangha was Rs. 40 lakh, and that was also the second day’s figure. Of course, one doesn’t know if Ratnakar will overtake the business of Kanchanjangha which had opened last month and which went on to become the biggest blockbuster in Assam across languages, displacing Bahubali 2: The Conclusion (dubbed in Hindi). But the initial of the new film, made by Jatin Bora, is slightly better than that of singer Zubeen Garg’s Kanchanjangha.
