Satish Panchariya, chairman of K Sera Sera, has been booked for allegedly sexually assaulting a colleague several times over the past couple of years. The 28-year-old woman, who is a director in the company and is a foreign national, said that the accused sexually exploited her in the guise of professional meetings and also threatened her with gang rape and acid attack. She claimed that the abuse was enabled and covered up by insiders, who used threats, intimidation and fear to silence her.
The victim said in her complaint to the Amboli police in Bombay that Satish was angry with her after getting to know that she planned to get married. She approached the ministry of home affairs when the police refused to file her complaint. The Amboli police registered an FIR (no. 0384/2025) on April 13 against Panchariya following a probe. He has been charged under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Nikita Rattanshi, director of Chhotu Maharaj Cinema, has also been accused of criminal conspiracy and extortion in the FIR. The FIR was filed under ministry of home affairs order no. F. No. 15011/01/2025-SC/ST-W (S).
It is alleged that Satish Panchariya and Nikita Rattanshi are habitual offenders and have allegedly engaged in a series of organised criminal activities.
