Veteran Hindi and Marathi film, stage and television actor Vikram Gokhale slipped into coma yesterday (23rd November). Social media was agog with rumours that the veteran actor had passed away. His wife, Vrushali Gokhale, refuted rumours of his death and said that he had slipped into coma yesterday afternoon. The 77-year-old actor was put on ventilator soon after he became comatose. He has had multiple organ failure.
Actually, Vikram Gokhale slipped into coma, came out of it, and became comatose again. Doctors at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment, will decide their future course of action today, depending on whether he is improving or sinking and on whether he is responding to treatment or not.
