Blue Diamond Production House and CP Production’s Tera Mera Nata is the story of a young girl and a young boy. Misha (Ambika Vani) comes from Delhi. She meets Gaurav (Suraj Kumar) who is blind. Misha is very impressed by Gaurav’s singing. The two become good friends. Misha learns from Gaurav’s mother (Deepika Chikhlia) that Gaurav was not born blind. She, therefore, decides to take Gaurav to a doctor in Delhi. Does Gaurav get cured?
The story offers no novelty whatsoever. The screenplay, written by Swatantra Goel, is devoid of emotions. Although it is a romantic drama, the romance is not heartwarming. Swatantra Goel’s dialogues are routine.
Suraj Kumar is alright in the role of Gaurav. Ambika Vani does an average job as Misha. Deepika Chikhlia lends decent support as Gaurav’s mother. Pankaj Berry performs quite well. Supratim Roy, Meghna Panchal and Pragya Mishra lend fair support. Others are okay.
Chanda Patel and Swatantra Goel’s direction is routine. Dushyant Dubey’s music and Sanidhya Saawarna’s lyrics are functional. Chini Chetan’s song picturisations are nothing to dance about. The background music is weak. Raja Phadatare’s camerawork is alright. Meraj Ali’s editing is loose.
On the whole, Tera Mera Nata is a poor show all the way.
Released on 26-6-’26 at Movie Time Goregaon (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru 1st Film Studios LLP. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over. Opening was weak everywhere.
