Actor Tusshar Kapoor allegedly received an extortion threat demanding Rs. 5 crore from someone claiming to be Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Harry Boxer. The Bombay crime branch, however, ruled out Boxer’s involvement after the voice in the audio message failed to match samples.
Tusshar informally alerted the police who enhanced security for him and his sister, Ekta Kapoor. Though no FIR was registered, the crime branch’s anti-extortion cell is probing possible impersonation or use of AI.
