The minister of state for home, G. Kishan Reddy, on 15th September told the Lok Sabha that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which is investigating the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, had on its own not received any actionable inputs pointing to a nexus between people in the film industry and drug peddlers. Rhea Chakraborty and her brother, Showik, were recently arrested by the NCB for their links with drug peddlers. Kangana Ranaut had made a public statement recently that 99% of Bollywood was addicted to drugs.
