Rohit Shetty, Ajay Bijli, Sanjeev Kumar Bijli and Darshan Mehta graced the launch of the iconic Jio Drive In theatre at Jio World Drive, Maker Maxity, BKC, Bombay today (5th November). A special premiere show of Shetty’s Sooryavanshi was held to mark the launch.
Before the film’s screening, Rohit Shetty and the Bijli brothers addressed the gathering and praised Jio for starting a Drive In cinema of international standard. Shetty also showered lavish praise on the Bijlis for running Jio. A couple of dance recitals entertained the audience. Hit numbers from Rohit Shetty’s earlier films were playing in the background prior to the function, setting the perfect mood for the evening. A lot of food items were served to the guests, giving the impression of a carnival where people could have a great time.
Like Sooryavanshi, the entire experience of watching a film at the Jio Drive In theatre was memorable and novel. Special mention must be made of the terrific arrangements which ensured that the event went off smoothly and seamlessly. The staff on duty was helpful and added to the comfort of the viewers.
