The court of judicial magistrate D.N. Shukla in Ranchi has fixed October 16 as the next date of hearing in the Rs. 3 crore cheque bouncing case against actress Ameesha Patel. The statement of Ameesha will be recorded under section 313 of the Cr.PC. Ameesha will have to remain present during the hearing.
The defence side on September 29 completed cross-examination of a key witness in the case. The witness and complainant, Ajay Kumar Singh, was cross-examined by Ameesha Patel’s advocate, Jai Prakash. Earlier, the complainant had also produced another witness, Ajay Singh alias Tinku Singh, in the case.
