Actor Rio Kapadia, known for films like Chak De! India and Dil Chahta Hai, passed away today (14th September) in Bombay. He was 66 and had been suffering from cancer. He was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s web series, Made In Heaven Season 2, as the father of the character played by Mrunal Thakur. Rio Kapadia also played significant roles in Happy New Year and Khuda Haafiz.
His last rites will be performed tomorrow (15th) at 11 a.m. at Shiv Dham Shamshan Bhumi at Goregaon in Bombay.
