Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has moved a Delhi court, seeking direction to forthwith restrain Sukesh Chandrasekhar from issuing any further letters, messages or statements addressed to her directly or indirectly. Jacqueline is a protected witness in the FIR being probed by the Delhi police’s Economic Offences Wing in connection with the Rs. 200 crore money laundering and extortion case linked to him.
The actress stated, “Through such letters, certain unwarranted statements outraging the modesty of the present applicant have been made by the accused. This is an attempt by Chandrasekhar to intimidate and threaten her so that she does not reveal the truth to this court in the capacity of a prosecution witness.”
The court listed the matter for January 17, 2024.
