Dr. Pradeep Gadge has dashed off letters to the health minister, I & B minister, state health minister in Maharashtra and the CBFC, asking them to stop the screening of Kabir Singh as, according to him, it damages the image of doctors. He has said that the film portrays doctors in bad light. Shahid Kapoor plays a doctor (surgeon) in the film.
