‘SAMARPIT: FATHER’S LOVE’ REVIEW | 26 June, 2026

Released last week all over, Naishaa Films’ Samarpit: Father’s Love (UA) is the story of a father whose selfless love and sacrifice for his son become the foundation for the latter’s success.

Ankit Yadav and Nisha Ali’s story is routine and offers no novelty whatsoever. Exhan Khan and Ankit Yadav’s screenplay is so hackneyed and predictable that the drama becomes run-of-the-mill. There are almost no high points in the script. Exhan Khan and Ankit Yadav’s dialogues are commonplace.

Ankit Yadav is dull. Naisha Yadav is unimpressive. Jaya Bhattacharya lends fair support. Javed Haider is okay. Prashika Sharma, Dev Vyas, Meet Verma, Anchal Pareek, Komal Harplani, Surendra Yadav and Devendra Gupta lend average support.

Exhan Khan’s direction is weak. The narration fails to hold the viewers’ attention. Music (Shree Sindhu, Agni Varan, Bishwajit Ghosh and Faraaz Ahmed) and lyrics (Shree Sindhu and Ranjeet Singh Mashiana) are more functional than anything else. Rahul Devnath’s background music does little to elevate the drama. Dharmendra Chouhan and Avinash Padirkar’s camerawork hardly deserves separate mention. Umesh Rane’s editing is loose.

On the whole, Samarpit: Father’s Love will not get any love from the audience.
