Arijit Singh’s mother has been admitted to a hospital in Calcutta for COVID-19-related complications. Bengali film actress Swastika Mukherjee (who was seen in Hindi film Dil Bechara) and filmmaker Srijit Mukherji tok to their social media handles to amplify requests for blood donors for the singer’s mother. The singer managed to arrange for blood for his mother and thanked the donors. He also urged his fans to not donate blood merely because his name was attached to the appeal. He said, every life was important and added that his well-wishers should not overdo their move to donate blood for his mother.
