Casting director and producer Seher Latif passed away today (7th June) due to renal issues. She had done the casting of films like The Lunchbox, Shakuntala Devi and Durgamati. She was also the co-producer of Netflix film Maska and Netflix web series Bhaag Beanie Bhaag.
Seher Aly Latif was also instrumental in the Indian casting of international projects like Zero Dark Thirty, The Good Karma Hospital, Best Exotic Marigold Hotel series, Man Who Knew Infinity, Million Dollar Arm and Line Of Descent. Her forthcoming project is Netlix’s anthology series Feels Like Ishq which she co-produced with Shivani Saran.
