Actress Mishti Mukherjee breathed her last on 2nd October in Bangalore due to kidney failure. She is survived by her parents and a brother. She was reportedly following a strict diet which led to health complications and ultimately, kidney failure. She had been hospitalised and passed away last night.
Mishti had acted in Hindi and Bengali films. She had also appeared in music videos. Her debut Hindi film was Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi. She had been surrounded by controversies in her brief career. In 2014, she was arrested along with her father and brother for possession of pornographic material and allegedly running a prostitution racket, which she denied.
