Seasoned actor Ravindra Berde, who acted in a number of Marathi and Hindi films, passed away today (13th December) in Bombay following a heart attack. He was battling throat cancer. He had been admitted to Tata Memorial Hospital two months back. He was discharged just two days back and suffered a heart attack today, which proved fatal. He is survived by his wife, two children, a daughter-in-law and a grandchild.
He had suffered a heart attack in 1995. He was detected for cancer in 2011 but continued to act after that too.
Actor Laxmikant Berde’s 78-year-old brother had acted in such Hindi films as Singham and Nayak. In all, he had worked in over 100 films. Among his Marathi films were Shodh (Marathi), Khatarnak (Marathi) and Zapatlela.
