Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, has been given a clean chit by the Narcotics Control Bureau in the Cordelia cruise drugs case. He has not been named in the chargesheet filed by the NCB today (May 27) in the case along with four others.
Aryan had been arrested in connection with the Bombay cruise drugs case on October 3 last year. He was in the NCB and judicial custody for a total of 26 days before the Bombay high court granted him bail on October 28. He was freed from jail on October 30, 2021.
On March 31, 2022, special judge V.V. Patil had granted the agency 60 days to file the prosecution complaint or chargesheet. The agency had sought an extension of 90 days. Judge Patil heard arguments from both sides for nearly two hours before reserving his order on May 25. The NCB has been investigating the case since the past six months.
