T.P. Aggarwal was unanimously elected president of the Film Federation of India at the first meeting of its executive committee, held on 19th November in Goa at The Hotel Crown. S. Thanu, C. Kalyan, Nitin N. Datar, N.M. Suresh, Bajrang Lal Agarwal, Sakshi Mehra, S.S.T. Subramaniam, Sushama Shiromanee, Sabu Cheriyan and Meghraj Rajebhosale were elected vice presidents. Ravi Kottarakara and Dharmendra Mehra were elected hon. general secretaries while Sangram Shirke was elected hon. treasurer.
