Saumya Samy, the 30-year-old manager of singer Mika Singh, who was found dead at her Andheri (Bombay) residence on 3rd February, died of drug overdose, a police report has revealed. The report added that Saumya suffered from depression.
Saumya Samy was staying alone on the first floor of the singer’s studio on account of family issues and depression. She had reportedly attended an overnight party and had returned home around 7 a.m. Her death came to light when she did not come out till late in the evening. Around 10.15 p.m., a few workers found her immobile in her room. She was declared dead when they rushed her to hospital.
