The Maharashtra state commission for women could not take forward Tanushree Dutta’s sexual harassment case against Nana Patekar as she had failed to appear before it. The commission’s chairperson, Vijaya Rahatkar, told the media in Pune on 26th June that Tanushree’s allegation of the commission being unwilling to help her was false.
Incidentally, the police recently filed a report in the court in Bombay that Tanushree’s sexual harassment case against Nana was false.
