Producers Paritosh Painter and Rajesh Kumar Mohanty on Sept. 14 announced a slate of seven Marathi films to be produced jointly under the banners of Kaleidoscope Cinema & Picture Productions and S.R. Enterprisers. The films will be directed by different directors and will star top names.
The titles of the seven films are: Nirvadhi, Sutka, April Fool, Fakt Mahilansathi, Three Cheers, Ekda Yeun Tar Bagha Return Janarach Nahi and Ti Me Navhech.
Nirvadhi will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. It will star Subodh Bhave, Upendra Limaye and Gauri Ingawale. Prasad Oak will direct Sutka which will star Swapnil Joshi, Prarthana Behere and Omkar Raut. April Fool will be directed by Priyadarshan Jadhav. Cast: Siddharth Jadhav, Ankit Mohan, Rasika Sunil and Rinku Rajguru.
Sai Tamhankar, Shivani Rangole, Vandana Gupte and Prasad Oak will comprise the lead cast of Fakt Mahilansathi. It will be directed by Mrunal Kulkarni. Paritosh Painter will write and direct Three Cheers which will star Siddharth Jadhav, Shweta Gulati, Jayesh Thakkar, Bharat Dabholkar, Tejaswini Lonari, Resham Tipnis, Vijay Patkar and Johny Lever.
Ekda Yeun Tar Bagha Return Janarach Nahi will be directed by first-time director Prasad Khandekar. Cast: Sayaji Shinde, Girish Kulkarni, Bhau Kadam, Tejaswini Pandit, Namrata Sambherao, Vanita Kharat, Rajesh Shirsatkar, Omkar Bhojane, Gaurav More and Pandharinath Kamble. Shreyas Talpade and Urmila Matondkar will be teamed in Ti Me Navhech along with Ninad Kamat in a key role. It is written by Paritosh Painter.
Motion Content Group, the content & IP investment arm of WPP GroupM, will collaborate as the monetisation and marketing partner in the seven films.
