Bhojpuri film actor and Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari on 12th January served Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, a legal notice, claiming damages of Rs. 500 crore for using his Bhojpuri video albums on the ruling party’s (AAP) theme song for the assembly polls. The actor added that he had claimed Rs. 500 crore for defaming him and violating his intellectual property rights. He also filed a complaint with the Election Commission. The Delhi BJP filed a separate complaint with the chief electoral officer of Delhi, demanding stringent action against AAP and directing the party to withdraw the video.
