‘ZARA HAT KE…’, ANIMATION ‘SPIDER-MAN’ DO WELL

Zara Hat Ke Zara Bach Ke did fairly well in the first week. The buy-1-get-1-ticket-free scheme helped in creating a buzz around the film which found reasonable acceptance. Taking into account the promotional scheme, the collections for the first three days were: Friday – Rs. 5.49 crore, Saturday – Rs. 7.20 crore, Sunday – Rs. 9.90 crore. After a weekend total of Rs. 22.59 crore, collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 4.14 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 3.87 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 3.51 crore, Thursday – Rs. 3.24 crore. The total for the weekdays, therefore, was Rs. 14.76 crore. In this way, the first week closed at Rs. 37.35 crore.

Chidiakhana bombed miserably in 1st week.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (animation, dubbed and the original English versions) did pretty well in the first 8-day week. It netted Rs. 4.20 crore on Thursday (first day). Collections on Friday fell to Rs. 3.34 crore but picked up again on Saturday (Rs. 5.19 crore) and Sunday (Rs. 6.11 crore). After a 4-day weekend total of Rs. 18.84 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 1.97 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.90 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.86 crore, Thursday – Rs. 1.25 crore. Hence the total for the weekdays was Rs. 6.98 crore. In this way, the first 8-day week closed at Rs. 25.82 crore.

Fast X (dubbed and the original English versions) started its third weekend with a take of Rs. 0.94 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday and Sunday went up to Rs. 1.60 crore and Rs. 1.97 crore respectively. Therefore, the third weekend closed at Rs. 4.51 crore. Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 0.63 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.58 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.55 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.41 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 2.17 crore, the third week closed at Rs. 6.68 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 106.39 crore.

The Kerala Story started its fifth weekend with a net collection of Rs. 1.05 crore on Friday. The figures for Saturday and Sunday were Rs. 1.40 crore and Rs. 2.05 crore respectively. Therefore, the fifth weekend’s total was Rs. 4.50 crore. Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 0.85 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.75 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.55 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.50 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 2.65 crore, the fifth week closed at Rs. 7.15 crore. Grand total for 5 weeks: Rs. 232.30 crore.

Chowk (Marathi) did fairly well in the first week in pockets of Maharashtra only.

Phakaat (Marathi) failed to make a memorable mark in 1st week all over Maharashtra.

Butterfly (Marathi) fared poorly all over Maharashtra in the first week.

Bushirt T-Shirt (Gujarati) fared well in 5th week too, in Gujarat and Saurashtra.
