Lata Mangeshkar was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in Bombay on 8th December. She was in hospital for 28 days and was being treated for pneumonia.
The 90-year-old singing sensation was admitted to the hospital’s ICU on 11th November for breathlessness. She was diagnosed for pneumonia and was put on ventilator. She was also on life support system for a brief period during her 28-day stay in the hospital. Her condition did give sleepless nights to her near and dear ones but ultimately, the nightingale of India recovered. She had the prayers of millions of her fans who have loved the songs rendered by her in a career spanning more than 70 years.
